Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a BidRent account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use BidRent.

2. Platform Role

BidRent is a marketplace that connects landlords and prospective tenants. We are not a party to any lease agreement between landlords and tenants. BidRent does not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the suitability of any tenant, or the outcome of any rental arrangement.

3. Landlord Responsibilities

Landlords are responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, comply with local laws, and that they have the right to rent the property. Discriminatory listings are strictly prohibited.

4. Tenant Responsibilities

Tenants must provide accurate information in their bids and profiles. Placing a bid constitutes a genuine expression of interest in renting the property at the stated price.

5. Deposits

Confirmation deposits are collected by BidRent on behalf of landlords via Stripe. A 10% platform fee applies to all deposits. Deposits are non-refundable once paid unless the landlord cancels the arrangement. Landlord payouts are processed within 5 business days of deposit confirmation.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use BidRent to post fraudulent listings, harass other users, circumvent the platform for payment, or violate any applicable law.

7. Limitation of Liability

BidRent is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between landlords and tenants.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any reason at our discretion.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of BidRent after changes constitutes acceptance.
